Questions
What is the difference between Standard and Strong?
Standard keeps the text and the images. It packs the data in a better way. Strong draws each page as a JPG image and builds a new PDF. The file is much smaller, but you cannot select or search the text.
Why is the new file not smaller?
Some PDFs are already small. Then the page tells you, and you can download the original file.
What does the quality setting do?
It works in Strong mode. A lower quality gives a smaller file and a less sharp picture.
Do my files go to a server?
No. Your device does the work. Nothing leaves your device. Read more about privacy.
Is there a limit?
No. You can use the tools as many times as you want. A very large file can be slow on an old phone.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and there are no ads.
